ミントハウスとは親戚づきあい?とでも言うべきこだわりのケーキ屋さん「長岡ニルス」さん。
オーナーパティシエがこだわり抜いた食材で作る、ぬくもりあふれるケーキの数々はもう絶品。甘さを抑えてあるのは素材の良さの証でもあるんです。そのオーナーがそっと教えてくれました。「やわらかいキャラメル作ったんです♪」それがこの写真!!これぞ今話題の生キャラメルじゃないですか!!このキャラメルを大々的に出すんじゃなく店の端の又端にこそっと隠すように置いてあるあたりが・・・ニルスさんのスゴイとこなんです。口に入れるとソフトに溶ける・・・う～ん・・・たまりません♪1個100円の悦楽です。
